Restore Accidentally Deleted Custom Content Type (that's in use)

I accidentally deleted a Content Type from the ContentTypeHub site. The Content Type was a custom one that I am using on a list in another site.

It didn't even ask me to confirm the deletion (I was trying to delete a column but pressed the wrong delete button), I have done this so many times by accident because of the UI. It's caused a few issues, but it's never been a CT that's been in use like this one. Please tell me there is a way to restore this? It's not in the site recycle bin. It is still on the other site for now, but I don't trust that.

When I actually want to delete something I have to jump through hoops and perform satanic rituals. When I don't want to delete something, a mis-click causes havoc.

I just did this by mistake as well given that in the modern Content Type admin area when you want to remove a column from a content type the wording is "delete" even though you're not deleting the column. I selected two columns and clicked the "delete" button at the top of the columns and... as stated, no prompt or anything... just the content type gone forever... ARGH!!!

Bronnen I have the same problem, same question, but seeing no replies does not give me hope! Did you ever get this sorted out?

No I've had to make new ones whenever I've deleted them. I've done it a few times since as well. No matter how much I tell myself not to click that button, if I'm not 150% concentrating I will automatically click the delete button I can see, which deletes the whole thing. It doesn't delete it from the sites it's in use, but it orphans it and is honestly a bit of a nightmare!
