Remove Text of Column of type Person or group

 

 

 

I have column of type Person of group, when user try to type anything in this column message get display:-

Enter a Name or email address

 

I want to remove above message, please find attached image, is it possible to remove that

    Each column within SharePoint has a series of options attached to it, one of which is the site description, which you've probably seen appears below the Person / Group not within it.  So, this means there's no native way within the toolset to remove what you're seeing in that column.

     

    It may be possible to remove this via CSS or someother, I've not tried to customise Modern NewForm.aspx yet.

     

    A counter question is why would you want this removed?  This column is very precise in what it expects to be provided, this guidance is intended to help your users.
