Remove page title from command bar

The title of the page started to appear in the Command Bar on our SharePoint communication sites a few days ago.

How can we remove this?

It looks bad for several reasons:

• long titles get truncated due to lack of space
• it duplicates the browser tab
• it duplicates the main page heading which is just below

It's not just editors who are seeing this: all users can see it.
