Remove list columns from search crawl

Hello! Can anyone tell me how I can remove the Created By and Modified By columns from a list search? We have a staff directory in an SP list but when you search for staff members who have worked on the items within the list it returns all the items they have worked on rather than just their own list item. Thanks!
