Removal of account from SPO Owner Group

Question

When someone is removed from AD, the account is synced to Azure AD. How long does it take for people to be removed from the classic SP Owner group and what does Sharepoint look for when removing people, what has to be in place for it to occur?

Most likely the 30 day retention of deleted users recycle bin. You can force delete these via powershell. But it won't delete permissions completely around systems incase you need to restore them.
