regarding .mpp file in sharepoint online
Hello Team,
Greetings!!
Could you please update us that user wanted to open .mpp file by SharePoint Online, MS Project is properly installed on the machine. If a .mpp file is saved on the computer locally, then user is able to open it With MS Project. She is only unable to open it directly from sharepoint. An user has contribute permission over the file.
Please update us asap.

- Are you using Project Online? If not, that's probably the source of your issue here...Project is able to open Projects that are published in Project Online

Yes, we are not using project online. so issue with MS project online not SharePoint Online.
