Recreating SharePoint Modern Team site with same URL
I have a group of users which have a requirement to recreate their Modern Team sites daily to return them to default content and settings with the same URL. How do I (with SharePoint Administrator role) delete the site then recreate it and connect it to the existing group? Every option I have also includes removing the unified group then removing it from the recycling bin on the exchange side, but I don't think I'm able to do this
- AFAIK, this is the only way...might I ask why this requirement? It sounds a little bit strange to me
- It’s for sites which are used by the training department in a Classroom setting. They need everything the users create to be removed or wiped on a daily basis back to a blank template with all OOTB lists and libraries.
I’m moving towards just clearing out any additional lists created by PNP PS script, as I don’t think recreating them is possible, nor is connecting a new SharePoint site to an existing groupDeleting the content seems like far less effort.
