Really slow indexing of newly created news
Since last week we noticed that it takes up to 24 hours for news to be searchable from Sharepoint home and they wont appear on our Hub site. This seems to only affect some sites since news created on other sites are showing up almost instantly. We tried re-index of the sites that are slow but to no success.
This is a major issue for us since we just launched a new intranet and many news are not showing up on the intranet front page. Anyone else experiencing the same problem or have any suggestions on how to solve this?
- If the news articles were created ahead of time before joining to the hub, you have to go edit news and republish to flag it for faster index. That I have seen happen before. Same thing happens when manually editing promoted state meta data manually etc.
Anyway may not be related but just a hunch since this is when I notice this behavior and it just needs a kick to index faster after joining a hub.
