Sharepoint List - Person or Group Type

Thanks for reviewing this, I've found an odd solution by accident, for some reason the issue has nothing to do with SharePoint but the notebook I was using, I've opened the list on my personal notebook at home and re-entered the names and they stay in the order I enter them, I go back to my work notebook and if I enter a new name, it sorts alphabetically, same browser on both notebooks so odd, but at least I have a solution.
I can't duplicate that - is there already JSON in the list? Honestly, that would be a great feature to toggle in the column settings. I tried in grid view and in the form. Is this happening on all lists or just this one?
