RE: Change library column to site column
So I definitely made a mistake in creating the structure of a site. I'd like to change library columns to site columns. Is that something that can be done?
Hi, You can create a 'Site Column' based on the library column, but the problem would be to transfer the data from the library column to the site column. This cannot be done by out-of-box and it has to be done by custom code.
- Could this be accomplished with Flow/Automate? What about version history? Would it be a matter of having the flow iterate through each version?
