Quick links image is not displayed with Auto-select option selected
Images are not being automatically selected with Auto-select option in Compact or Tiles view of Quick Links web part.
odessitka Hey, I get what you're saying - it sounds like 'Auto-selected' should choose an image from the article as the icon. Unfortunately, that only works for Filmstrip and Grid.
The 'Auto-selected' option for the other views, chooses an icon that best represents the link (e.g. an external website, a SharePoint page, PDF, DOCX etc) and displays that icon.
You can upload a custom image or choose a different icon but it won't pull an image from the link for it.
- Do you know why behavior is so different for different layouts of the same web part? It's so counterintuitive. I imagine behavior should be the same, just different item size.
