Problems migrating InfoPath form libraries

One of our clients needs to migrate some InfoPath forms from 2010 to SPOnline. When we try to create a new Form (Using IE 11), we get "This feature requries microsoft internet explorer 7.0 or later and a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible XML editor such as Microsoft InfoPath" error.  Clicking on the migrated forms opens them correctly. Does anyone know what would be causing this type of error?
