Problem with Choice Column Radio Buttons Display Choice
Validation of required choice field seems to be broken on modern new form page. Users select an option, but the form will not submit due to a required field validation that should not be occurring. I've worked around this with customizing the form in PowerApps, or reverting to classic, or changing the required field option, but does anyone know if they have fixed/are working on a fix?

I don't know if this is linked, but we are having a similar problem with Choice field set to display as Radio buttons. If a Default value is set, the user cannot change the radio button that is set as the default. We are only seeing this problem using Modern view in Internet Explorer, but not Chrome. All works fine in Classic view.
I logged a ticket with Microsoft and have had it confirmed as an issue they need to now work on resolving. In the meantime, they have reverted modern choice fields to displaying drop-down options rather than radio buttons. I've just tested this and as shown in the screenshots here, setting choice to radio button now goes to drop-down for the user.

Yep. I also had this confirmed by Microsoft a couple of months ago. They told me to work around by clicking the save button at the top of the screen rather than the bottom. Once that too started to not work, I have had to revert back to classic view for the associates to be able to do their work. This should be fixed by now, but it is not. :(
