Problem with Choice Column Radio Buttons Display Choice
Beginning of June a user reported "You can't leave this blank" was returned when they tried to submit an item and column was not blank (see screen shot below). Three more reports were submitted for different lists.
Problem seems to be a mandatory choice column with radio button display in a list. Fix is to remove mandatory or change the display choice to drop-down menu.
Classic view seems like a fix until one tried to add an attachment. One user said Chrome works, but I have not had time to test. I could not recreate the problem with a library.
Easy problem to fix, but I am concerned it could be related to other problem behaviors I've observed with our lists which I do not have time to share at the moment.
Just curious if others have experienced the problem and found a resolution via Microsoft or other means.
Our SharePoint Admin had to submit a ticket and both problems seem to be resolved.

We are experiencing the same problem (see screenshot), and have had to lock the library into the 'classic' interface to overcome it. I would also like to know if there is an easy solution or if it is just a bug. The radio buttons work OK, but the free form text does not.

Onno van Ewyk - Classic worked until we tried to add attachments in both new and classic.
Our admin reported the problem and the attachment problem seems to have been fixed for the radio buttons as long as we use classic.
BUT...I discovered the same attachment problem with Yes/No in New and Classic. And, with a Yes/No there is no mandatory to remove. Same behavior in that one hits Save which greys out and then nothing happens (see first post screenshot).

Update on the Yes/No column. Attachments work in New, but not in classic.
