"Post to Yammer" error in Modern Yammer Webpart

Hi all,

 

I'm using the Yammer webpart on a Modern Page in SharePoint. Unfortunately it's not possible to use the "Post to Yammer" functionality in the webpart. I've tested this on two tenants so far, both showing the same error. "Your message has not been posted. Try again later."

Anyone experienced this as well? Anyone with a solution?

 

When clicking the "Post" button, the console tells me: 

POST https://api.yammer.com/api/v1/messages.json 400 (Bad Request)

    We are experiencing the same issue. Have just implemented the Yammer web part due to the clients complaining about no longer having a newsfeed on their homepage but sure enough no-one can post from the homepage. If we open up Yammer we can post in the same group with no issues.

    Are you certain the user attempting to post can actually post in the group? Can you post to that group from yammer.com? Are you sure there wasn’t a temporary disruption on Yammer that prevented posting?

    Having ruled out the above, best to raise a support ticket so that we can troubleshoot this properly.
