Pictures in SharePoint

Do any of you guys have a large amount of pictures in your SharePoint sites?

I'm having an issue viewing previews of pictures right now. Its telling me to download the picture in order to preview it. This is the first time I've had this happen. Its across all sites.

Any advice on what might be causing this?

I'm having the exact same problem. It is our photo library, so we need to be able to access previews. Also cannot access thumbnails... started as of yesterday.

I opened a ticket with MSFT premier support on this and the Picture web part. I haven't heard anything back yet. I will let you know what I learn. Thanks - Greg

Mine started working again shortly after you submitted the ticket!

I am having this experience as well with *.jpg and *.png.  The message is 'Hmmm.... looks like this file doesn't have a preview we can show you.'  followed by a download button. The message is attached.

This seems like something is broken.

That might have something to do with the type of picture it is. JPEGs and PNGs I know SharePoint will handle, not sure how many other extensions it is capable of handling in its viewer. What is the picture's extension?
