Picture libraries not showing thumbnails/image preview fails

Question

Picture libraries don't seem to be working. No thumbnails and when I click on an image I see the attached message.&nbsp;This happens for .png, .jpg, etc...&nbsp;Anyone else seen this?

Is there a way to force the "Tiles" view? I have images in a picture library, and the view defaults to "thumbnails" however it defaults to list view unless each user changes it, which is not ideal.

I'm sure I read or heard somewhere recently that Modern Document libraries are better for images now.

Interstingly this picture library appears to be a modern document library. Same look and feel.

The picture libraries that i have migrated as objects (thus old picture library) still work great. Weird.

i have seen this yesterday at the keynote presentation at ESPC later it refreshed and showed the pictures so i guess something is not going rigth the first time. at least the team saw it as well so i guess it is going to be picked up fast :-)
