People with the highest access on Sharepoint having issues viewing some folders
Hello KSuccar
do you use unique permissions on differnt levels in your library?
Have you checked the advanced permissions on the folders and the higher level?
Best, Dave
Hi Dave, Thanks for getting back to me.
We do use unique permissions for all employees with the directors all having the same most senior permission (site owners) which should give them access to basically everything I think, including folders created by other Directors (unless I am mistaken). I think I know what you mean by levels and those three directors all have Full control as their permission level.
Thanks

Hello KSuccar
i mean with levels site, library, folder or document. It's possible to set the permissions on each level, it doesn't have to mean that everyone has access everywhere, if folders or documents are shared, the permissions can be broken and you have unique permissions.
With unique permissions it's meaning broken permission on a level, this is not best practice and can lead to a lack of transparency.
