Appears this is still an issue. Saving from PPT to PDF, the file saves to the SharePoint site, but disappears immediately. Shows up in the activity feed and when you click it, it says the file no longer exists. If you try to save it again, it says the file already exists. Spoke with support and they said the workaround is to save the PDF to your desktop or OneDrive first, then move it over to it's proper location on SharePoint. Not a great long-term solution. I hope engineering actually looks at the issue!

DustTilDawn This is an issue for me also. PDF shows up fine if I "Open in Browser" but the default is to open in documentcloud.adobe.com/spodintegration.
