Oracle Data

Good Day

 

We have an on premise SharePoint application that currently leverages this third party solution https://www.layer2solutions.com/products/layer2-business-data-list-connector for helping connect to oracle databases and retrieve data that will populate SharePoint Lists.   As we plan to migrate the application to SharePoint Online, is there an out of the box capability (not sure if the Business Connectivity Service may help) that would allow connecting to Oracle databases so SharePoint Online lists can be populated?  Thank you for any advice

    Why not use the same application for SPO? By the way, in SPO you have BCS and you could consume Oracle data by exposing your data with a WCF service...you will need to test it, Microsoft has not invested in BCS for years
