Online SharePoint Document Library

I have an empty folder within a document library that I am attempting to delete. I'm getting a pop up notification that there is a file checked out and that it must be checked in. Problem is the file has been deleted. How do I remove the folder? rena adan

    An idea would be to check in Library Setting > Manage files which have no checked in version.

      Yes, I found it in the library settings, manage files. I was able to find it and take ownership of the file. I had to make a change to the document to check it in. Once that was done I deleted it through Sharepoint designer. Many Thanks!
  • Hmm, that's odd. Have you tried going to the Recycle Bin (.../_layouts/15/RecycleBin.aspx), restoring the file and then manually deleting it?
