Notebook title for new Site Collections now provisioning as "Team Site Notebook"

Hi All,

 

I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed that when you create a new site collection the notebook no longer has the site collection title in it. For example, if the Site Collection is called Human Resources, the notebook used to be provisioned as "Human Resources Notebook". With recent changes, the notebook is now called "Team Site Notebook".

 

I can see this being very confusing for users who sync their notebooks to the OneNote app as all of the newly created notebooks will have the same name.

 

Is everything else experiencing the same thing? And if so, do you have the same concerns?

    Well, I have to test this more but at least this is not happening with the OneNote notebook created in a Teams SPO Site

      Hmmmm, interesting. So Teams SPO sites may be working as expected?

       

      I am specifically looking at creating a SharePoint Team site via the Site Collection Admin console.
