Not able to open .aspx files on SharePoint even with custom javascript setting enabled.

I have hosted a HTML5 based output on SharePoint. Custom javascripts are part of this hosted output.

I have enabled the setting to allow custom javascript on my SharePoint server. Still when I am clicking the .aspx file, it is getting downloaded rather than opening.

I have checked the mime type as well. It's text/xml.

Please guide. I am in urgent need to resolve this issue.
