Not able access the link to item for the first time, without opening the main list

I have created a private SharePoint group and then created a new list but shared this list with everyone in the organization. 

I have shared the link to a specific item in this list with one of the person in the organization. He was not able to access that item (asking for the request access).

Then the second time, when I shared the main list link, they were able to access the link.

Now after opening the main list, and then again going back to the first link (specific item link), they were able to access that link.

Why is this happening, why we are able to access the item link only after opening the main list?

Is there any workaround for this issue?
