No Result on Modern Document Library Search

Dear All, Anyone face this kind of situation once i would like to search specific document in document library.  The search result is showing nothing. I clicked before for Reindex search in library...

Is this a Group enabled team site? if so, what role in the Office Group do you have? you need to be in Members role, if you are only in the Owners role it won't work.

    Yes. It's Group enabled team site. I am site owner. 

    Your meaning that the site owner is required to be added in site member also? Thus he\she can search the result? Got any article from Microsoft to state about this?

    Thought that site owner has the highest privilege to manage the team site including searching.

    Please advice.

      that is correct, I did to, and I spent hours arguing with MS about this a few months ago, it is not documented. Give it a try and see if it solves your problem, it did for me.

        How do you grant them in site member (Unified Group) in the correct way?

        What if i am site owner in unified group, could I add myself again in unified group as site member?
