News web part works on one page, but not the other.

Hi everyone,

I am developing an intranet site in SharePoint and a strange problem has come up with the news webpart. When visitors come to the homepage, they see the webpart and all works well. instead when they visit another page on the site with the identical news web part, with identical settings, it says there is no news to show. Anyone in the Member or Owner group can see the news on both pages. I have gone through the permissions, but I can't find anything out of place.

Any ideas?
