News Web Part behavior - page name doesnt update
So this is a question / criticism i spoze.
When I try to add a new web part, the physical page name gets named whatever you initially enter the title as.
That annoys me to death, because if I start a page, thinking I am gonna name this "How do I upload a file", but then I go down and add a web part, and then decide to change the title to "Going to the zoo", the physical page url that users see is still "How do I upload a file.aspx"
Is it possible to expose the actual page name a little bit easier to change it after the fact when editing the page? Or just update the file name based on what you update the page name to be?

Agreed, I'm not really fond of this behaviour as well.
I'm thinking on training my users to think early about the title and enter it first with "-", like "This-is-a-news-title" then TAB to the webparts and afterwards change the title to look proper.
I've also come to realize that sometimes, or especially for news a date-prefix might be better for the page filename itself. This is especially useful if you somehow have recurring news about the same topic, like "new employees of the month", or "microsoft patchday is out!" :)
- Is it not enough to change it by means of the page properties in the library where the page is stored?
- Brent EllisSilver ContributorFor me, knowledgeable SharePoint admin, sure, but I'm putting on my end user business hat, and it's several extra steps that I wouldn't THINK you need to do.

Brent Ellis - You can change the actual URL of the page using SharePoint Designer.
