Hello,
To enable default notifications for all users within your organization, please activate "Viva Connections" for your tenant.

Next step is to enhance your site with a script to make it into a "home site".

When both tasks are completed. Whenever a news article is published, your employees that have access to the site will be getting a notification in Microsoft Teams. 🙂
To adjust the notifications to certain users, you will have to use audience targeting on the news article.

We have all those settings already set, but what is the reason for this: "People got the message on their mobile Teams, not Desktop" ??

As mentioned in this text, we have settings for notifications enabled, but we still don't get them in desktop, only in mobile.
But, as it says on the link:
"There is no organization-wide method for an administrator to control Viva Connections notifications."
I was hoping for a better solution, but it seems there isn't one, so I will just build my own news web part with my own notifications, as you always must do with anything in SharePoint.

Hmm unfortunately I am not aware of any configuration for Viva Connections notifications to only be for mobile or desktop. I myself have always got the notifications on both.
