kglashagel - alternatively, you could create a subsite for the sole purpose of sending newsletters, e.g. www.mysharepointsite.com/newsletters
Then all the newsletters are stored in pages under the subsite and you can still show them on your portal using the Newsletter webportal - roll-up news from the subsite.
