News headlines format

Question

My friend, Google, hasn't been able to help me with this issue, so I was helping some of you brilliant minds might be able to.

In all my sites, in all my news webparts the headlines are shown as the example below. With dashes and .aspx.

How come? How can I change it?

The SP is in Danish language.
