NewForm redirect bug in Comms sites
Hi
It seems theres a bug in Modern Comms sites when trying to redict users to a page after a newform submission.
I have the following URL syntax on the Page:
https://domain/teams/sitename/Lists/ListX/NewForm.aspx?Source=https://domain/
This redirect works fine from a modern page in a classic team site.(newform.aspx submission redirects to desired target URL)
But fails from a modern page in a Comms site. It always seems to navigate to the allitems.aspx page in the list. The URL at the top of the newform.aspx screen shows:
https://domain/teams/sitename/Lists/ListX/NewForm.aspx?Source=https%3a//teamtelstra.sharepoint.com/
with a %3a instead of a colon in the path.
Does anyone have a workaround for this or an ETA on a fix?
Liz Van Der Peet Is there any update on this? I've been trying to set up a redirect in a Comms site and it's still not working for me.
