New Webpart not showing any news when using selected sites - affecting all users
Hi,
Our news webpart seems to have just stopped working when we use the selected sites, even if I include the site its self:
Below is using selected Sites, there is news posted on all these sites but it shows nothing even when published:
If I use current site it displays the news posts fine:
has there been any changes to how the news webpart functions? we haven't updated or changed anything, just happened this morning and its affecting any users that goes to the site.
Edit: as reported below this now showing up in the Service Health, I'd suggest everyone affect report using the service health that they are experiencing the issue as they are reporting that it is limited, but seeing the amount of replies below it seems more widespread.

- We're seeing the exact same error on our SharePoint Intranet. All news have suddenly disappeared from the News Webpart. It can't even display new News Items added using the very same Web Part.
- Having the same issue, I'm using "Recommended for current user" as a backup.
- There have been issues with the web part for a couple of weeks and now this has happened. I'm glad it's now an incident on the Service Health portal.

Also seeing this issue this morning. Would appreciate a resolution from Microsoft asap as our global news feed site is completely broken now. amelsom1985

This has happened to us too across multiple sites for all users. They were there last night and this morning until I added a quick link to another section, republished and it disappeared.
Is there a Microsoft Support team who can help with this?
