New SharePoint Search in Modern Pages

But I am not sure what to advise them. Either use an existing SPFx webpart which interfaces ...
Yes - I agree. But will all of this be supported by the 'New' search experience when it comes ?
I don't remember seeing anything about this in the SharePoint Conference last month. Did I miss something or has this been delayed indefinetly?
No sign of announcements in terms of this topic in MS Ignite so far ... The week isn't over yet - still hopeful :-)
