Need help for addressing few issues on Sharepoint portal

A site is a Sharepoint site collection site(which is in top hierarchy). And I changed site's name from 'LIVE XXXXXXXX Entertainment' to 'ZZZZZ' few month ago, and in Sharepoint portal still change is not applied. How do I change this?
2.
B sites are already deleted sites. I still can see those sites from "recent" section, for few month. Is there any way delete those? If I click them, I can only see "404 page not found".
- My 2 cents here:
(1) You cannot change the behavior of the SPO Landing page, so if the page is not reflecting the name change, I recommend you to open a support ticket.
(2) Same with deleted sites that should not appear in the SPO landing page
