Nov 28, 2017Navigation Pane adjustment
Hi all!
How can the left Navigation Pane width be adjusted to view full headings? Currently, words seem to be cut at a pre-set width followed by ... (dot dot dot).
Thanks!

As you mentioned the 3 dots, I assume you are viewing your site in the modern experience :)
In your browser, use the Developer tool (F12) to identify the elements in the navigation panel and then create and apply CSS to show the full name without the 3 dots.
Further I cannot help, as I am not yet using the modern experience.
Kind regards, John

Thanks a lot for your input, John!
Unfortunately, we do not have full Developer Tool access and therefore cannot create and apply CSS in a swift manner. Also, we were hoping that the headings would wrap automatically to the required no. of lines. Instead, they seem to overlap the main page.
Best wishes,
Lotte

In the Navigation pane, the HTML around one navigation element looks like this
The yellow arrows indicate the styling modification I did to have the navigation element show in full.
My test navigation elements full name is "Documents having a very long name that does not fit" :)
Hope this will help you, should you later be able to apply the styling changes.
Kind regards, John
