MS Access not working for Guests on Sharepoint Team Site

I am new to Sharepoint so please excuse my inexperience. I have created an Access database with a front end that sits on my PC and the data is on lists on a Sharepoint Team Site. It works fine for all those within our organisation. I need to give access to an external client and have added them as Team Site guests. That has been successful in allowing them to visit the Team Site. However, when I give them the front end Access Database, they have no connection to the data and the database will not function as required. Any guidance will be most welcome.
