Move Option in Document Libraries - No Warning When Metadata Will Be Lost
Last year, when we tried to move a file to a new library that did not include matching metadata, SharePoint would show a pop up stating that metadata may be lost as the columns don't exist in the destination.
It seems this has changed - now there is no warning! Has anyone else noticed this?

- Not particularly, but if that's the case I recommend to open a support ticket to report this bug
- Actually I ran some more tests and here is what I found. When you are moving to a new site collection, then the warning pops. However, when you are moving within the same site collection...there is no warning. I wonder if this is by design?
