Modern site but classic lists
Hi,
Not sure if the following makes sense. I have access to a modern teamsite. But some of the lists within that site e.g. pages and also when I create a new list, it is in classic.
I presume this is controlled on the tenant level where the list experience is set to "Default experience set by my administrator".
I was under the assumption that a modern site , the lists created within that site would be modern.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
- Custom lists should be created as modern lists....other lists (Contacts, Links, etc) are still not fully modernized

jcgonzalezmartin Even when creating a custom list it is created as classic. And when I check the library the default list experience is "Default experience set by my administrator ". So i presume this is an issue?

Some of the lists are in Classic view - so what is the difference between a list that is shown as modern and a list that is shown as classic? - or even under the List settings, the List experience is set to Classic.
Do you add special columns?
For me it is the same if I look directly at the list itself, not a webpart in a page, then it may appear in modern view, but other will appear in classic view, due to specific columns that we have.
