Modern Profile Service in SharePoint Online
Hey
Does anyone know, if Microsoft is planning to develop a modern version of the very old Profile service? The current one is, and frankly has always been, insanely heavy to work with.
Just loading the current properties list takes a very long time and the same goes for opening op available properties and creating news ones.
It really need an update.
I am asking since many clients are asking for additional properties in delve, but the current version is just unbearably slow to work with, and at the same time, the new properties created does not work the same way as the default ones the users can access via Delve.
In order to work any new property, it appears it has to be done through the old interface.

miclarsen1 Hello! Two years ago I asked the same question regarding modern content type hub, and other admin sites that was still in classic view. They are definitely looking into modernizing the majority/if not all of the UI. When it comes to user profile properties, I can not say when it will be updated, but I can almost guarantee that it will come in due time (perhaps 1 year from now).
