Modern pages - highlighted content no results
Hi, I tried to use the highlighted content webpart to search all sites for documents of a specific content type. When editing the webpart, I choose all sites and all content types as source. (I h...
Highlighted content is not yielding any results on one of my team sites using the default settings. It worked at one point, and I'm not sure what changed. If I expand the search results to all sites, then I see results from other SharePoint sites. Any ideas?

MicrosoftNick - the default settings would show most recent documents on the site. Since you said it worked at one point, I assume there are still documents on the site (e.g. they weren't moved/deleted)?
Highlighted content depends on search, have you made any changes to search on this site?
Assuming for a moment there are other content types on the site (e.g. Pages, tasks, etc), what happens if you edit HC to show that content only from This Site?
We haven't made any changes that should impact basic search queries like this.
