Modern Page Web Parts

Does anyone know if its possible in hiding or disabling selectively web parts that appear as a choice on modern pages.  For example it looks we may have a business requirement for having the Microsoft Forms or the Twitter web part in removed as a choice.  Taking this a bit further would it be possible in selectively choosing the site collections where it could be done so its not covering the entire tenant? Thanks!

From the knowledge I have, I think you'll have to depend on a combination of policy and tight control of who gets page editing rights. If your organization is mature in its use of SharePoint to the point where you have many page editors, you might be stuck with policy--I'm not aware of a way to toggle what webparts can be used.

    • AFAIK, there is not way to do this with out of the box WebParts...you have there and a user with the ability of create / edit pages can use all of them. However, with custom WebParts you have at least the option to deploy them to specific site collections and no other using the site collection app catalogue feature
