Modern Page View Count

Good Day

We noticed on our communication sites that the home page is not showing up at the bottom of the page the number of views. We can see the save for later option or like the page.  However, when we go into the site pages library and check any of the other pages, we do see the site views count showing up.  Is there something we need to do for having the home page get to display that views count? Thanks

Thank you all for the responses.  Its certainly odd that behavior and I still see some inconsistencies.  I just tested another communication site and made a test modern page the new home page.  The social bar at the bottom of the page was no longer visible as I made that switch. This confused me more as the other communication site the social bar still showed but not the view count on its home page.

  • I think this is just but design...the home page for a Communication Site and a modern SPO site does not have the same social bar you have in any other modern page in your site. To me it makes sense since it's just the home page
  • Have you tried using the Cog wheel > Site usage page? This shows my views for the page even thou hover card does not.
