Modern Page Content Alignment

Good Day

I was hoping in getting advice on what is the expected behavior when working with modern pages and the alignment of content.  We have Scenario A, a Communication Sites where we have several modern pages. The modern pages use different web parts like the Text or Quick Links web parts.  All of those web parts and their content show/display in a centered type of alignment with no intervention from us.  We have Scenario B a classic team site that has several modern pages.  The content on the modern pages always seems to show aligned to the left and there does not seem to be something we can do to avoid this default forced behavior.  Does anyone know why content in modern pages would seem to be forced in a left alignment in classic team site rather than a centered alignment as we see in a Communication Site?  Thank you!

  • Hi JMB125,

I believe what you are seeing are the different site layouts that come with Communication sites vs Team sites. Communication Sites feature Top Navigation by default rather than the Quick Launch (left) navigation that ships with Team Sites.

    I hope this helps.
