MicrosoftModern Lists rollout is now complete!
We have just completed our rollout of Modern Lists for SharePoint. All of our customers,, including our Dedicated vNext customers should now have modern lists showing up for custom lists.
If you haven't heard about modern lists, take a look at our introduction from a couple of months ago.
As we mentioned in earlier posts, please note that modern lists, just like modern document libraries, may detect some incompatible features and fall back to the classic SharePoint view for some of your lists. Take a look at this article for the known cases where we fall back to classic, and this article for getting your bearings around modern lists.
Do you know if anyone has created a list of issues that need to be fixed with "modern lists" and "modern libraries"? I already have a small list of things I've come across, but instead of recreating the wheel, I'd love to see and add to a community list.
one example- when viewing an item in a list, you cannot see anywhere the created/created by and modified/modified by metadata that was always in the classic "view item" page (dispform.aspx).

Hi Katrin Weixel, thank you for the feedback.
The missing created/modified by and date information is now on our backlog, we did hear that feedback from a few other customers, and hope to add these to the modern forms in the new year. Hopefully sooner, rather than later!
For your other ideas/suggestions, it would be great to add them to the SharePoint UserVoice forum. We make sure that we consider anything that's over 50 votes, and try to respond to more things. Also upvote other ideas that you see there that you like.
