Modern Lists Missing Ribbon to Add/Edit Items

Yes. I have a request with MS. It's been escalated. We'll see what they are able to find.
This is something that's affecting all lists. Old and new ones. Once the item has been created through the Classic Experience, it can be edited.
The bar appears briefly, before disappearing. I was able to catch it.
My user has Full Control in the site and list. If the issue were to be a Retention Label, I would think it would stop me across the board. However, I am able to Add items through the Classic Experience.
