Migrating from Google Workspace to Sharepoint

Hello. Trying to migrate a bunch of Google Workspace files and folders to Sharepoint. We don't need to map users. We're just trying to make an archive copy of all files.
The problem is that using the SPMT, it tries to open and scan all the Google native format files (Gdoc and Gsheet). It then chokes on that and errors on that file. Resulting in NO Google native docs getting migrated. All other files are migrated just fine. I recall there used to be a way to turn off file scanning, but can't find that option now.
The alternative is to make a ZIP file with folders included and then unzip it in the final destination, but that seems like such an ugly workaround. Is there a better way to do this? Thanks!

    Consider Using Third-Party Migration Tool:

    • Many third-party migration tools specialize in Google Workspace to SharePoint migrations.
    • These tools often have better handling of Google native files and offer more flexibility in terms of migration options.
    • Some popular options include:
      • Gs Richcopy 360: Offers various migration features and supports large-scale migrations.
      • Movebot: Known for its handling of Google native files and customization options.
      • ShareGate: Provides a comprehensive migration solution with advanced features.
