Migrate Access Database to native Sharepont lists
Hi ,
We are trying to migrate a bunch of MS Access databases to SPO. When we export the access tables to SPO the sharepoint lists get created using the list template 120. Lists based on this template cannot be viewed in the modern UI. This is preventing us from doing the migration as we want to use the modern UI.
I found a user voice on this at https://sharepoint.uservoice.com/forums/329214-sites-and-collaboration/suggestions/17804779-update-excel-and-access-sharepoint-list-creation-t
Someone there said he was told by microsoft that they are working on it.
Can anyone confirm this. I dont see it anywhere on the roadmap.

Russell,
You will find a step-by-step intro for Access database content migration or synchronization with SharePoint lists here: https://www.layer2solutions.com/support/cloud-connector-faqs/microsoft-access-sharepoint-integration
Hope that helps. Thanks, Frank.

I agree with jcgonzalezmartin, you will need to create the lists to your requirements and then import the data in a subsequent step.
- What about using a programmatic approach for both creating the lists and migrating the content?
