Microsoft List (Preview) issues
The full version of Microsoft Lists is available only with Microsoft 365 business subscriptions.
Microsoft Lists is not being discontinued. Only the mobile app will stop working in November 2025.
You can still access your lists on mobile using a web browser.
I am not aware that Microsoft has released any migration tool for moving from the MSA Preview to the full version.
You can either:
- Use a commercial migration tool, or
- Manually export your lists and attachments, then upload them to the full version.

Thankyou for your response again.
Would you please explain a little further.
- Can you give an example of a "commercial migration tool" that would work in my situation?
- When you say manually export, you mean by using excel? csv? etc.
- is there ANY way to save the current list to another format, other than Csv, or to print it, without having to screenshot every page?
- Once I have a list, is there any way two lists can be merged in the preview version? or the full version?
- Lastly, where are my lists (in the preview version) stored? There doesn't seem to be a way to 'save' the list myself, therefore no way to print it.
In the full version, is there a way to 'save' the list? on my One Drive for example? that would mean I could print it if I wanted to?
I wish I hadn't made the big catalogue on the Preview version. I should have been more careful about checking that it had the functions I need, but I find it bizarre that the preview version is not very user-friendly past the 'making' stage.
