Manage Service Applications Problem - Secure Store Service Application

Question

Hello,&nbsp;We are having a Sharepoint 2013 problem accessing the Service Application called Secure Store Service Application.&nbsp;&nbsp;The message that we get reads "Cannot complete this action as the Secure Store Shared Service is not responding. &nbsp;Please contact System Administrator"&nbsp;&nbsp;We are looking for any ideas to try to fix this issue.&nbsp;Thanks very much,&nbsp;Craig Kornackikornacki@dyc.edu

Is the secure store service running?&nbsp;To start&nbsp;the Secure Store ServiceOn the Central Administration home page, in the System Settings section, click Manage services on server.Above the Service list, click the Server drop-down list, and then click Change Server.Select the application server where you want to run the Secure Store Service.In the Service list, click Start next to Secure Store Service.

Thanks for your response.&nbsp; Yes, it is running.&nbsp;&nbsp;I also get a :&nbsp;7557&nbsp;The Secure Store Service application Secure Store Service Application Proxy is not accessible. The full exception text is: The HTTP request was forbidden with client authentication scheme 'Anonymous'.&nbsp;In the Application event log.&nbsp;&nbsp;
