mailto not working with button

I contacted Microsoft for help as I am trying to getting a button to essentially allow user to click the button for them to be presented with outlook. I have tried everything to add mailto: or even M...

Imanh08 you can do this with an image web part.  Add your image and in the Link field type mailto:address. It will add an https:// before it as you type:

 

Once you've entered the whole address just delete that https:// and click the Republish button. When you click the image Outlook will open.

    RobElliott  Hi Rob thanks for your help unfortunately its still not working for me. No idea why its not working with any of the web parts!

      Guessing you're using Chrome?
      It seems that chrome is having a bug with mailto, so that's the reason. 🙂
      Try with Edge or Firefox etc.

        NicolasKheirallah I was actually using Edge but I am in contact with Microsoft themselves to see what is happening.
